Samra has joined the push up challenge on behalf of our club to help to Raise funds for mental health. I know there are quite a few members in the club who have been touched by mental health challenges in friends and family and we thought this would be a great way to raise awareness and also get ourselves a little fitter.
She has put together 4 teams Div 1, Div 3 Div 5 and Family and friends! This way we can push each other to do it and have a bit of banter about which team is winning. I am totally expecting that the Bartons will be leading the Banter for Div 1 and the Mens team, so come on Div 3 we have got this.
Sign up to a team, it doesn’t cost you anything, do the pushups (or exercises and get the benefit) If you want to push for donations you can if you don’t just do the pushups and help your team be better than the others.
You can do the push ups or as I know that I will not be able to do the pushups I am going to do 1/3 pushups, 1/3 sit ups and 1/3 squats to get a whole body workout.
At the end of the challenge Avondale will donate $20 for every person that signs up and completes the challenge.Let’s get pushing for Mental Health.
